About the Chamber
The Queens Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is the first Black Chamber in Queens, New York legally incorporated as a Board of Trade and Chamber of Commerce under Section 1410 of the NY Not-for-Profit Corporation Law. Our mission is to empower B lack businesses in Queens through advocacy, resources, and connection.
Founded: as an advocacy in 2020, Queens Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc. was officially incorporated as a Board of Trade and Chamber of Commerce Corporation under New York State law in 2025

President: Dr. Niccol Gordon
Leadership Bios
Dr. Niccol Gordon – President
Dr. Niccol Gordon is a seasoned entrepreneur, civic leader, and advocate for Black economic empowerment. With over a decade of experience founding and growing multiple businesses, Dr. Gordon established the Queens Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc. to formalize and expand her work supporting Black-owned businesses in Queens. Her leadership blends business strategy, community service, and public policy advocacy.
Kristen Raysor – Secretary
Kristen Raysor is a detail-oriented administrative professional with a background in nonprofit management and civic engagement. As Secretary of the Queens Black Chamber of Commerce, Kristen ensures organizational transparency, maintains corporate records, and facilitates communication between board members and the community.
Ashley Jones – Treasurer
Ashley Jones is a financial strategist and small business advocate dedicated to promoting economic sustainability. With experience in accounting and community development finance, Ashley oversees the Chamber’s financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency in support of its mission.
Josephine Carter – Board Member
Josephine Carter brings a wealth of experience in real estate development and community outreach. As a board member, she focuses on expanding member services and fostering partnerships that benefit Black-owned businesses in Queens through education, advocacy, and resource sharing.
Derrick Hamilton – Board Member
Derrick Hamilton is a business consultant and policy advocate with a passion for equity in entrepreneurship. His role as a board member includes driving public-private partnerships, supporting chamber initiatives, and amplifying the voice of Black business owners across Queens.
